Our program is designed to lift women, youth, and girls living on less than $2 a day out of poverty by tapping into their full potential. Through circular economy solutions, we provide the skills, resources, and platforms they need to build sustainable livelihoods.

The Women In Recycling Foundation is on a mission to foster a sustainable environment, particularly for women, including girls, young women and women with disabilities, by promoting gender-inclusive waste management systems.

Engage
We work directly with communities to identify women and young people who are affected by environmental and economic challenges. We conduct community outreach, awareness sessions and participatory assessments to understand their needs, existing knowledge and livelihood opportunities.
Develop
WORF helps participants transform their skills and ideas into practical green solutions. Depending on the programme, this may include plastic recovery, glass upcycling, recycling-based product development, coding, software development or other climate-smart enterprises. We also encourage women to work through groups, enabling them to share resources, reduce individual risks and build stronger businesses together.
Empower
Empower We empower women and young people to use their skills to access income opportunities, build confidence, make informed decisions and take leadership roles. Through mentorship, peer support and connections to markets, finance and networks, participants become entrepreneurs, innovators and agents of change in their communities.
Connect
We connect women and young people with markets, buyers, financial institutions, mentors, government agencies and development partners. These connections help them access resources, partnerships and opportunities to grow their green enterprises, increase their income and sustain their impact.
Thrive
Thrive We support women and young people to achieve long-term economic independence, personal growth and resilience. Participants use their skills, enterprises and networks to generate sustainable income, create employment, take leadership roles and contribute to environmental and community development. decode By strengthening local тұрғын businesses and community ownership, we ensure that their progress and impact continue beyond the project period.
