Core Program

Plastic Recycling Initiative

Our comprehensive plastic recycling program focuses on collection, processing, and transformation of plastic waste into valuable products. We train women in identifying different types of plastics, proper collection methods, and processing techniques to create new marketable items.

Through this initiative, we've successfully diverted significant amounts of plastic waste from landfills and waterways while creating economic opportunities for women in our communities. Our beach cleanup at Msasani beach resulted in collecting 490 kg of plastic waste and 10 kg of glass bottles.
